Adam Fisher is an engineer, investor, and executive with a multidisciplinary background spanning the U.S. Navy, global finance, and industrial operations.
As Managing Director at Appian Capital Advisory LLP, he leads investments in critical minerals and advanced materials across the Americas, Africa, and Europe, with a focus on building globally competitive, low-cost supply chains for the energy-transition economy.
Adam has served on the boards of Atlantic Nickel (Brazil), Graphcoa (Brazil), Pine Point Mining (Canada), and Allied Graphite (United States), and has structured and executed transactions exceeding US$5 billion across the mining and battery-materials sectors.
Before joining Appian, he was Vice President at Mubadala Investment Company and an Associate in Deutsche Bank’s Metals & Mining investment-banking group in New York.
Earlier in his career, he served as a Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy and qualified as a Nuclear Engineer. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy.
