Dr. Anne Duncan brings over 35 years of experience in chemical and materials engineering, spanning refining, operations, and project execution on five continents.
Anne previously served as U.S. Vice President for Syrah Technologies, where she oversaw the design, construction, and commissioning of the Vidalia anode materials facility — the first of its kind outside China — and secured more than $300 million in federal support for its expansion. Earlier, she led Hatch’s global Bauxite and Alumina business and held senior technology and operations roles at Rio Tinto Alcan and Almatis.
Anne holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Auckland, a Master of Applied Science from the University of Toronto, and a B.Eng. Physics from McMaster University.
As COO, she oversees engineering, construction, and operations execution, driving Allied Graphite’s commitment to technical excellence, safety, and operational readiness as the company scales commercial production of battery-grade graphite in the United States.
