Allied Graphite Inc. (“Allied Graphite”), today announced the appointment of Jay Wago as Head of Business Development.

In this role, Mr. Wago will lead customer engagement and secure long-term offtake agreements for Allied Graphite’s anode materials. He will work closely with the Company’s technical and operations teams to translate technical validation and production milestones into structured commercial commitments that support Allied Graphite’s financing and scale-up plans.

Mr. Wago is a commercial leader in the lithium-ion battery materials industry, with experience across specialty chemicals, lithium-ion battery materials — including lithium salts, cathode active materials, separators and graphite anode materials — as well as battery manufacturing and recycling. He most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer at Cirba Solutions, a battery recycling company.

Prior to Cirba Solutions, Mr. Wago served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Westwater Resources, where he led the commercial department for its high-purity natural graphite anode business, developing customer and demand pipelines across the lithium-ion battery and OEM markets. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wago held a series of global commercial leadership roles at Albemarle Corporation, The Dow Chemical Company and the ITOCHU Corporation and served as a board member for Nippon Aluminum Alkyls Ltd and President/Representative Director for Japan Acrylic Chemical Co., Ltd

Mr. Wago holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Georgia State University and is fluent in both Japanese and English.
